Happy New Year!!!

We can't believe it's 2010! Jacie spent her second New Year's Eve at H2, and was very happy to do so!!! (By the way, Jacie started off the New Year with another new word-- "happy!") She was all decked-out in her camo including her new boots (yep--another new word). The new railing on the porch made it easy for her to enjoy being outside without us having to worry too much.

Dallas World Aquarium

Daddy came home at noon on December 29th to take Mama and Jacie to the Dallas World Aquarium before the next round of snow started. Jacie had a great time and really noticed everything. She hooted at the owls, stared at the sharks in the shark tank, talked about the fish, and get excited about the little monkeys. It was a fun experience for all of us!!!

Tulsa Visit

Our Christmas trip Tulsa was cut short by a couple of factors-- not only had the snowstorm been way worse up there, but Mama also got a stomach virus on Christmas night! Thankfully, we made it to Tulsa for a few hours (poor Daddy had the same virus when we were there-- we're so grateful that Jacie didn't get it!!!). Jacie had some much fun visiting everyone on that side of the family and getting to hang out with her wonderful cousins!!!

White Christmas

We know that this isn't much of a white Christmas compared to what some of our other family members had, but this is about as good as it gets in Texas!!! Jacie enjoyed being out in the snow, and DIDN'T enjoy coming in from it, as evidenced by the Jacie fit seen here. She had a great time Christmas morning and was very happy with everything!!!

Christmas Eve

Jacie had fun at church on Christmas Eve and was excited to put on her Christmas Dog pajamas from Jane. (She made her usual "Ffff" sound when we talked about the dogs on them. The "Ffff" has been her version of "woof" for awhile now, but she's already starting to say it more clearly.) She crashed hard leaving Santa plenty of time to get to the house.

A Little Christmas Dancing

Thanks to Aunt Sheryl and Uncle David, we've heard "Frosty the Snowman" about 50,000 times in the past 2 weeks. Jacie wasn't so sure about the cute little singing snowman, but as you can see, by Christmas Eve she was a huge fan.

Fun with Friends

Jacie had fun hanging out with some other kids during Christmas break. At Daddy's company gathering, she showed that she already knows how to chase the boys (Lord, help us!). She had fun with her buddy Kaleb at the elementary school playground. She's definitely no longer afraid of the slide. She didn't want to quit, and she evidenced that by a good-ole Jacie fit when we returned to the house. Bless her heart-- she slept HARD that night.
