5 months old!!

Jacie turned 5 months old on the 28th. She's about 26 inches long now and probably weighs between 16 and 17 pounds. She's getting really good at holding herself in a sitting position. She also perfected the Air Jordan logo pose. :-)

Jacie's First Christmas

Jacie had fun on her first Christmas. She got to see her friend Sadie play Baby Jesus at the Christmas Eve service, got to sit on Popa's lap to hear The Christmas Story, and got to open presents!!

Santa Jacie

Jacie did a great job with Santa Claus this year, especially considering that we had to wake her up to put her on his lap! She was very interested in all the people in line, but they were able to finally get her to look at the camera.

friends at school

Jacie, Will, Lia, and Kendall made a Christmas picture for their parents. However, someone forgot to tell Jacie that her fly was open!!

missing "Bum"

Jacie lost her great grandfather on December 22nd. We're so thankful that they got to meet-- he's one of Mama's personal heroes. Since Jacie didn't get the time to realize how wonderful he was, Mama will make it her mission to let her know. We miss you, Bum!!!

Home, at last!

Jacie was pretty worn out from her trip but excited to see Daddy's side of the family!!! She finally got to meet Uncle Scott, and she spent some quality time with him, Aunt Michelle, and Nana & Popa before finally crashing!!

Thanksgiving

Jacie took her second trip to Tulsa for Thanksgiving. She got to see Mama's side of the family and got to visit her friend Addison. She even decided to roll over on Thanksgiving day!!! When we got home, she got to meet her new friend, Sadie!

Growing like a weed!!!

Jacie has been so much fun, especially these last couple of months!!! Her feet are almost always in the air! She's starting to grab them...it's only a matter of time before they make it into her mouth. She's "talking" all the time, loudly if you don't acknowledge her quickly, and she does a mean dove call!!! (It's amazing-- maybe she's going to help Daddy hunt dove one day.) She reaches for and successfully grabs things all the time. She's often smiling and laughing, and she sleeps through the night right now!!! We couldn't be more blessed.
